Rhizome sales are now open for spring 2023. Pre-order now for delivery at rhizome harvest in April.
Hops rhizomes are dug as soon as we can work the ground – usually very early April. It takes us a couple of weeks to dig, clean, grade and sort everything, then we commence shipping around mid to end of April through May. After May, rhizomes are usually unfit to be shipped and planted.
All our hops come from our own farm only, as there are no other organic hops growers in the region. Our varieties are non-patented stock and are focused on old-world heritage ale types. Since our hopyards also serve our on-farm brewery, we grow what our brewers want to use! Check out Challenger, for example: if you like a solid English Bitter, this is the hop variety for you.
Head over to the store and start thinking about all the lovely beer you’ll brew!
